Descriptive Gazetteer Entry for Drumshoreland

Drumshoreland, a station and a moor in Uphall parish, Linlithgowshire. The station is on the Edinburgh and Bathgate section of the North British, 1 mile S of Broxburn, 7¾ miles E by N of Bathgate, and 115/8 W of Edinburgh. The moor, extending from the southern vicinity of the station to the Almond or Edinburghshire border, comprises some 200 acres of uncultivated land, one-half of it covered with natural wood.
