Skerryvore Lighthouse, on rock in the Atlantic, Tyree par., Argyllshire, 10 miles SW. of Tyree island; is 158 ft. high, with revolving light 150 ft. above high water and seen 18 miles, and was constructed in 1838-44 at a cost of £86,977.
