Pop., 164. Houses, 24. A spot here was the grave of Shakspeare's favourite grand-daughter, and is marked by a mulberry-tree planted by Garrick. Abington Abbey is a lunatic asylum. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Peterborough. Value, £200.* Patron, Lord Overstone. The church is early English, and contains tombs of the Berhards. Charities, £20.
