Here we are presenting statistics for a historical unit, which may have changed its boundaries significantly during the period covered.

Preferred Name:
LLANDYSILIO EAST
Unit Type:
Parish-level Unit
Status:
Parochial Area
Civil Parish (until 1935)
Date created:

Date abolished:

Unit ID:
10060291
Authorities:
M. Richards, Welsh Administrative and Territorial Units (Cardiff: University of Wales Press, 1969), p. 110.

Notes:

Although Richard's indicates this is an ancient parish distinct from Llandysilio West parish in Pembrokeshire, no evidence has been found to confirm this, and the Census records a single ancient parish that crossed the county boundary. The unit status has therefore been amended to parochial area and a relationship added to an ancient combined single parish.
