CEFNPENNAR, a hamlet in Aberdare parish, Glamorgan; on the river Cynon, the Merthyr-Tydvil canal, and the Taf Valley railway, under Twynmawr, 4½ miles SW of Merthyr-Tydvil. Real property, £32,867; of which £15,096 are in mines, £8,000 in iron-works, £2,185 in canals, and £60 in quarries. Pop., 834.
