Kair House, a neat modern mansion in Arbuthnott parish, Kincardineshire, near the left bank of Bervie Water, 1½ mile NE of Fordoun station. It is the seat of David Johnston, Esq., M.D. (b. 1814), who purchased the estate from the Kinlochs in 1867, and holds 871 acres in the shire, valued at £1315 per annum.—Ord. Sur., sh. 66, 1871.
