Rockhall, a mansion in Mouswald parish, Dumfriesshire, 6 miles E of Dumfries. Its owner, Sir Alexander Davidson Grierson of Lag, eighth Bart. since 1685 (b. 1858; suc. 1879), holds 3514 acres in the shire, valued at £3084 per annum.Ord. Sur., sh. 10, 1864. See Dunscore.
