Ballynahinch, market town, Magheradroor par., mid. co. Down, on river B., or Annacloy, 12½ miles S. of Belfast and 135 miles NE. of Dublin by rail, pop. 1470; P.O., T.O., 1 Bank. Market-day, Thursday. Here in 1798 a force of 4000 insugents was scattered by General Nugent.
