Briton Ferry, town and par. with ry. sta., W. Glamorgan, at mouth of river Neath, 2½ miles SE. of Neath, 1522 ac., pop. 6061; P.O., T.O., 1 Bank. Briton Ferry Road, on the opposite side of the estuary, is a sta. between Neath and Swansea.
