Leven, River.-- issues (as the Black Water) from a small loch at the meeting point of Argyll, Inverness, and Perth, and flows W. through a chain of lochs, and along border of Argyll and Inverness, to head of Loch Leven; is 16 miles long, and has excellent trout fishing.
