Braemar.-- quoad sacra par., Crathie and Braemar par., SW. Aberdeensh., pop. 859; P.O., T.O., at Castleton of Braemar, 18 miles W. by S. of Ballater ry. sta. B. is remarkable for the grandeur of its scenery. It lies among the Grampian mountains, and contains Ben Macdhui (4296 ft.), Braeriach (4248), Cairn Toul (4241), Beinn-a-Bhuird (3924), and Lochnagar (3768).
