Fleet, river, SE. Sutherlandshire; rises 2 miles SE. of Lairg church, flows SE. through Strath Fleet, and falls into the Moray Firth at Little Ferry 3 miles S. of Golspie; is 16½ miles long, and has salmon and trout; near its mouth it expands into the tidal lagoon called Loch Fleet, in which is a good harbour.
