Lintrathen, par. and hamlet, in W. of Forfarshire - par., 22,624 ac., pop. 641; hamlet (Bridgend of Lintrathen), on Melgam Water, near its efflux from the Loch of Lintrathen, 7 miles W. of Kirriemuir; P.O.; the Loch of Lintrathen is one of the sources of the water supply of Dundee.
