Oich, loch and rivulet, in the Great Glen, mid. Inverness-shire; the loch, extending 3¾ miles NE. and S W., and lying between Lochs Ness and Lochy, forms the summit-level of the Caledonian Canal; the rivulet issues from the foot of the loch, and flows 6½ miles NE. to Loch Ness at Fort Augustus; the waters of both loch and rivulet abound in trout and salmon.
