Strangford, small seaport, Ballyculter par., E. co. Down, on the W. shore of entrance to Lough Strangford, nearly opposite Portaferry, and 8 miles NE. of Downpatrickry. sta., pop. 434; P.O., T.O. Market-days, Tuesday and Saturday. Strangford is the property of Lord de Ros, whose seat, Old Court, is adjacent.
