Tenbury, market town and par., Worcestershire, on border of co. and on river Teme, 22 miles NW. of Worcester by road and 142 miles NW. of London by rail, 5060 ac., pop. 2083; P.O., T.O., 1 Bank, 1 news-paper. Market-day, Tuesday. Tenbury has mineral springs, with bath-room and pump-rooms. There is trade in hops and cider, with some malting and tanning. Near the town is the college of St Michael, devoted to music, classics, and mathematics.
