Valle Crucis (Vale of the Cross), ruined abbey, Llantysilio par., Denbighshire, in a small meadow at the foot of a hill, 2 miles NW. of Llangollen; was founded about 1200 for Cistercians, attained much celebrity, and has left interesting remains.
