Descriptive Gazetteer Entry for Yealm

Yealm, river, Devon; rises in S. of Dartmoor, and flows 12 miles SW. to the English Channel between Bigbury Bay and Plymouth Sound; a little below Yealmpton it widens into Yealm Mouth, an exceedingly picturesque inlet.
