Glencolumbkille, par. and hamlet, W. co. Donegal, in the Glen Valley, 17 miles NW. of Killybegs, 32,245 ac., pop. 4139; P.O., called Glencolumbkill; there are still some ancient remains associated with the name of St Columb, who is said to have had his favourite abode at Glencolumbkille.
