Somersham.-- market town and par. with ry. sta., Huntingdonshire, 5½ miles NE. of St Ives, 4121 ac., pop. 1409; P.O., T.O.. Market-day, Friday. Somersham is an old town, and was in former times celebrated for its chalybeate springs. The church is Early English. There is an endowed school. The trade of the place is agricultural.
