BOURNE (River), a stream of Hants and Wilts. It rises near Easton in Wilts; goes 10 miles southward, past Collingbourn, and through the border of Wilts, to Park House; then proceeds 10 miles south-westward, past Boscombe, Porton, and the Winterbournes, to the Avon below Salisbury.
