BENTON (Little), a hamlet in Walker township, Long Benton parish, Northumberland; adjacent to the Northeastern railway, ½ a mile S of Long. Benton. The manor belonged to the Scropes, the Fitzhughs, and others; and belongs now to the Bigges.
