RIDGEWAY, a village in Plympton, St. Mary parish, Devon; near Plympton r. station, and 4½ miles E N E of Plymouth. It is a seat of petty sessions; has three good inns, and many lodging-houses and good shops; and is afavourite summer resort of the inhabitants of Plymouth.
