MERRIFIELD, a place in Antony parish, Cornwall; near Tor point, 1½ mile W of Devonport. A church was erected here in 1866, at a cost of about £3,000; is a handsome edifice in the pointed style; and, though finished without a tower, was designed soon to have one.
