Mitchelstown.-- market town, Brigown par., NE. co. Cork, near river Funshion, 10 miles N. of Fermoy ry. sta. and 15 miles SE. of Kilmallock, pop. 2467; P.O., T.O., 3 Banks. Market-day, Thursday. Mitchels-town Castle is the seat of the Earl of Kingston.
