MONINGTON, a parish in the district of Cardigan and county of Pembroke; near the coast, 3 miles SW of Cardigan r. station. Post town, Cardigan. Acres, 1,010. Real property, £750. Pop., 120. Houses, 19. An ancient family of the same name as the parish long resided here. The living is a vicarage, annexed to the vicarage of St. Dogmael, in the diocese of St. David's.
